Tutoring
I teach portrait, life, landscape, and still life painting and drawing in watercolour, pastels, acrylics and oils. Classes can be on a group or indivdual basis.
My fee for classes, demonstrations and workshops starts at £25 an hour plus expenses. I can provide models for life drawing if required.

Ongoing Courses

- Drawing and Painting for Pleasure
- Mondays, 2-4 p.m. at the Whiteway Centre in Rottingdean
- Portrait Drawing and Painting
- Tuesdays, 10-12 noon, at the Friends Centre at Brighton Junction in Brighton
- Pen and Wash
- Tuesdays, 1-3 p.m. at the Friends Centre at Brighton Junction in Brighton
- Drawing with a Difference
- Wednesdays, 9:30-11:30 am at the Whitehawk Inn in Brighton
- Dupont Art Club
- Every other Thursday, 10-12:30 and 1:30-4 pm at the Ventnor Hall in Hove. Drop in tutored sessions.

| This is a structured course which is suitable for beginners and those with some experience.We start with basic drawing skills, working through most media and finishing with oil painting; demonstrations and gentle guidance are given in each medium. Lessons include colour theory and mixing, perspective, portrait and life drawing. And once a year we do a "Big Picture", where we take a major work of art and each paint a small square. | ||

| Learn how to draw and paint in a relaxed atmosphere. Using stimulating subject matter you will learn painting and drawing techniques involving pencil, pastels and watercolours that will enable you to produce your own work. | ||
